FebEnd Result
I lied. I said 2 days in my previous post, but instead i took 2+ weeks =\
Not too happy with the end results. In picture form, the travel toiletry bag doesn’t look to bad, but if you see the real thing you will know why -_-
I’m having a lot of trouble with creating corners. Can anyone with sewing experience/expertise help me? Thanks in advance!

JulLess Footprints to Track
Talk about creating less footprints on this earth. At TOAST, they mean it in LITERAL Terms. TOAST a U.K. Based online eco friendly clothing website has introduced a Bio Fabulous pair of Tennis shoes for Men…but in my opinion this classic shoe is definitely Uni-Sex.
Scope here:

Take a gander at their other go green products. Each and every item sold has it’s own story. The company has very strong business ethics which they hold true to their word.

JulOne Man’s Trash is another Man’s Treasure
Taking man made trash and turning it into pieces of art takes a great deal of creativity, and no man can do it better than Stuart Haygarth of the U.K. He can compile a collection of object, or a random assortment of trash and create beautiful breath taking chandalier pieces. His work has been show cased from London to New York.:Inspiring:
To think, this talented mastermind collected countless pieces of objects that polutes our earth still. Yes, the trash you toss could be one of the many pieces to this man’s work.
Each piece of work has it’s own story and theme. Enough with the text and onto the photos! I’m sure you’re very interested in what he has created.
Tide Light: a Compilation of random objects that were brought onto shore by the high tides

Optical Chandelier: Where do the old lenses from your glasses go? Why here of course!

Drop Chandelier: Unfortunately our society has not gotten the memo that plastic water bottles have been a big participant in the massive landfills we create. Thanks Stuart for the partial clean up!

If you’re interested in more of his work, check out his website. It seems a little bit outdated though. Doesn’t matter. The content is awesome!

JunA Cozy Cuff for your hot cup
Another simply nifty little item to add to my Go Green collection.
Everytime I grab a drink, HOT or COLD, I never fail to grab myself a sleeve for my cup. Instead of being wasteful and a participant of dumping in the land fills, I think it might be a good investment to spend $7.00 on a Cup Kozy. It’s been estimated that about 14 billion coffee sleeves get tossed each year. Not only do they get tossed, but companies have to make 14 billion+ more of these coffee sleeves for the daily cofffee drinker at Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Urth Cafe, etc. So imagine, if every coffee drinker owned their own Cup Kozy, we would have saveed trees from getting chopped, created less pollution in the air from factories making the sleeves, and created less land fill.
Keep in mind. These things are small enough to fit in your hand. The sleeves actually roll up to about the size of your chapstick tube. So uh…what’s one less “chapstick” in your pocket/purse? The Cup Kozy also comes with a metal clip you can attach to your bag or keys. The material is made of felt, which is a renewable resource thats known for it’s durability, as well as insulate your hot drink and keep your hands from burning.
I think I’ve sold myself. The next time you see me at a coffee shop, you’ll definetely expect to see one of these goodies in my un-burnt hands.

Purchase your today @ http://www.cupkozy.com/index.php

JunStaple Free Stapler…say WHATT!!?
So this weekend K and I went to the Japanese Book store above Mirukai in J-Town…and Look what I found!
A “Staple Free Stapler”

Since I’m trying to move towards the Eco-Friendly part of town, I just HAD to pick one of these up. Regardless of the Price. It was calling my name.
So how it works: You can “staple” a maximum of 4 pages each time, and the little “Stapler” will punch tabs out of the paper and magically weave the tabs into a self cut slit. It’s kind of hard to explain… but it doesn’t matter. This little gadget is pretty damn awesome. $10 worth spending.

AprWalls of Protection
It’s understandable that we put up walls to protect ourselves from getting hurt (the feeling of vulnerability) but at what point do those walls become an illusion, a figment of your imagination, that you start to loose yourself between the bricks/cement or whatever you use to build your walls up…?
